As a Security Agent, you will be responsible for:

• Staying vigilant and alert to detect any unusual or dangerous activity.

• Maintaining a confident, authoritative presence to deter potential offenders.

• Monitoring building entrances/exits and ensuring authorized access only.

• Escorting employees to their vehicles at night upon request.

• Reporting incidents to supervisors and keeping detailed records.

• Collaborating with fellow security team members to maintain a safe and secure environment.

• Walking the premises to check for security breaches (e.g., unlocked doors, open windows).

• Observing security cameras and video screens for unusual activity.

• Responding to alarms, sounding alarms, or requesting emergency assistance as needed.

• Following instructions from supervisors, adhering to company protocol, and staying compliant with laws and regulations.

• Meeting the Iron Spear Standards.

What We're Looking for:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Experience in self-defense or previous security work is a plus; First-Aid/CPR certification is also beneficial.

• Must pass a state background check and maintain a clean driving record.

• Strong problem-solving skills and experience in conflict resolution, with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.

• Solution based thinking.

• Physically and mentally fit for long hours on your feet.

• A confident and calm demeanor, especially in high-stress situations.

• Willingness to intervene in dangerous situations to protect others.

• Strong observational skills to spot suspicious behavior and act accordingly.

• Solid judgment and integrity.

• Guard Card required. MED Badge is a plus.

• Valid Driver’s License required.
